It’s time for the seventh immersion reading project!
The project will run for three days, Thursday 23 June - Saturday 25 June. We’ll read just one page a day for the first two days. I’ll post the threads at 5 pm CEST on Thursday and Friday. The text for this project (see below) is very accessible and the pages are short. This way, more people can join.
On Saturday 25 June, I’ll organize another Zoom call at 5 pm CEST, during which we’ll go through the actual text. You can ask all your questions and we’ll read some passages together. I’ll send the link for the Zoom call sometime next week.
We’ll read from Murata Sayaka’s『コンビニ人間』of which I’ve scanned the first few pages (around 20 of them, so you can read beyond the scope of the project). Use the link below to download the file. It’ll only be available until the end of the project. When the project ends the link will disappear forever.
Read it a few years ago, will definitely join. I think (?) this might be the second "real" book I attempted to read cover to cover after 朝が来る by 辻村深月. Looking forward to hopefully getting more out of it the second time to judge my progress in Japanese!
My favorite! I have already read it in 3 languages, it is time for the original! Sure i am joining!
