FYI I set myself a personal challenge to read 12 novels/books for Japanese natives in 2023. That may not seem like much but it will still be way more than what I read last year. I just finished ５２ヘルツの鯨たち (longest I've read so far at 262 pages), and will start reading 正欲 by 朝井 リョウ soon. The challenges you ran a while ago with キッチン etc. really helped !
