I wonder why in the first sentence the word order is ある芸術を政治が利用して and not 政治がある芸術を利用して. Doesn't the second variant sound more natural, or is it just me? The same with 政治の必要から新たにある種の芸術を生み出し: at first I got stuck thinking "isn't it normally 新たな種 and not 新たにある種?", but then I got that it is probably inversion.
Hi Victoria! In the case of the first sentence, the ある芸術 is not 或る芸術 (a certain kind of art) but 既に在る芸術 (art that already exists; すでにある should be read together). In the case of your second point, 新たに is an adverb connected to te verb 生み出す, not an adjective that qualifies ある種. In other words, you could change the word order to ある種の芸術を新たに生み出し, perhaps this makes it easier to follow. As a side note, in contrast to the first example, the ある in ある種 is 或る(a certain...).
