Vocabulary:
Toyoshima Yoshio (author, 1890-1955)
Omi (name of province)
Lake Biwa
Katada (place in what is now Shiga prefecture)
Translation:
Long ago, there was a wealthy family that resided in Katada, on the west bank of Lake Biwa, in the province of Omi. The family had two brothers. The older brother had a very long face, and so he was called Nagahiko, the long-face from Katada. The younger brother had a very round face, and so he was called Maruhiko, the round-face from Katada.

#154 - The long-face and the round-face.
both とよ and しま have little variation. とよ most likely will be 豊 and しま 島, occasionally moving the mountain around.

I'm guessing that these are read w/ 訓. They're not really words but nicknames, 音 wouldn't make sense
