I read this as ならいしょう as that is how I remembered reading it elsewhere but it seems most dictionaries give the reading ならいせい instead, so I will adjust this on the website. As for しゅうせい, I don't think there is any inherent difference in meaning. I'll get in touch if I find any additional information on this. Thanks again!

ならいせい and ならいしょう as you translate it? Also is it any different in meaning to 習性
