Translations:
A large spotted brown dog entered his garden through a hole in the fence. It was the pet dog of his neighbor, Hatta. The dog hung its head as if it was contemplating something, and trampled all over his beloved peonies, sniffed at the roots of the flowers, turned around a few times, and then made its way over to the porch.

I was able to understand this, without looking at the translation first. Except the name of the author, I somehow also unsure about how to read personal names. I'm still reading Murakami, going very very very slow, but in the mean time I'm reading your posts and also getting more more out of it. So I do notice improvement, how ever small it might be. So thank you so much. I might not also leave a comment (very busy now), but I remain reading your posts, though not on daily basis.
