Translation:
The mouse killed the engine, put the packet of cigarettes that was on top of the dashboard in his pocket, took my hand and slowly climbed up the roof of the car. Sitting there next to each other on the roof of the Fiat, we looked up at the sky that was starting to shed its darkness, and without saying a word we smoked a few cigarettes. For some reason, I remembered a war movie starring Richard Burton. I have no idea what the mouse was thinking about.

Reading this makes me really want to pick up this book. For some reason, maybe because the grammar is easier, it flows easily when I read it. If you’ve read it I’m curious to know if you enjoyed it?
