千九百二十三年の七月、私は、独逸を出てから、和蘭・白耳義を経て再びパリにはひつた。其処の美術館で、前に見た目ぼしいものを見なほしたり、前に見のこして置いたものを見たりするのが私の主たる目的だつた。

Translation:

In July 1923, after I had left Germany, I traveled via Holland and Belgium and once again arrived in Paris. My main objective was to go around the museums there, and revisit the highlights from my previous trip, and to go and see the pieces that I was not able to visit before.
