この世の中に生きていれば、私たちのひとりひとりが考え悩むこともあり、どうしても解きたいと思う問題もあります。あるときには、その大きな問題を忘れるように努め、あるときには、それにもかかわらず、その問題につきあたりながら、なんとか暮らしつづけているのが人生でしょう。

Translation:

When we are in the world, there are things that we think and worry about, and there are issues that we want to solve no matter what. Sometimes we do our best to forget the big issues, and yet other times, despite our impulse to shy away, we face those issues head on while we somehow go on living our lives. That is how life works.
