世間には可成に女を知りぬいたつもりで、かれこれと女を批評する男が尠くないやうですが、それが大抵九分九厘迄は当つてゐないので、こちらの耳へは寧ろ滑稽に聞える位なものです。男は独りよがりを楽むものと思はれます。

Grammar:

1. Just a quick note on the usage of prewar kana here.

   ないやうですが is read as ないようですが.

   当つてゐない is read as 当たっていない.

   思はれます is read as 思われます.

Translation:

It seems there are quite a few men in the world who believe they have a thorough knowledge of women and who criticize women in various ways, but because their statements are mostly far from completely true, to our ears, if anything, they sound rather absurd. It appears that men are creatures who revel in their own self-importance.
