Just a quick note on the usage of prewar kana here.
ないやうですが is read as ないようですが.
当つてゐない is read as 当たっていない.
思はれます is read as 思われます.
Translation:
It seems there are quite a few men in the world who believe they have a thorough knowledge of women and who criticize women in various ways, but because their statements are mostly far from completely true, to our ears, if anything, they sound rather absurd. It appears that men are creatures who revel in their own self-importance.
